About The Position
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients as an Overnight Housekeeper at Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri. In this role, the Housekeeper will assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for adolescents facing behavioral challenges and medically complex physical conditions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Missouri Driver's License
- At least twenty-one (21) years of age
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a mental health setting (preferably with adolescents), and knowledge of child/adolescent growth and development, and the ability to relate to adolescents with substance abuse or mental health problems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and facilities to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Follow established protocols for cleaning and disinfecting equipment and furnishings, adhering to infection control standards and hospital policies.
- Ensure all supplies and materials are stocked and available to meet the needs of patients and staff.
- Collaborate with nursing and healthcare staff to respond promptly to cleaning requests and maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns promptly.
