About The Position

The Overnight Front Desk Agent assists guests with all aspects of their arrival and departure experience. This role involves handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly. The agent will perform nightly audits, reconcile accounts, and prepare daily financial reports. Responsibilities also include answering phone calls, taking reservations, managing booking systems, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area. Coordination with housekeeping and maintenance for guest needs and emergencies is crucial. The agent must respond to emergencies following company protocols, ensure accurate record-keeping, and provide basic concierge services. Additionally, the role supports the overnight Front Office Manager with administrative duties to ensure the next shift's success, maintains the tidiness of resort common spaces, and handles deliveries to and from guest rooms, including transporting guests and hotel packages. A key focus is on providing guests with opportunities to upgrade their initial booking.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. This may include some evenings, weekends, overnight and holidays.
  • Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • This position requires the ability to lift up to 40lb
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
  • Fluent in English an requirement and a second language is encouraged.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner

  • Ensures tidiness of Resort common spaces
  • Makes necessary deliveries to and from guest rooms, transports guests, and hotel packages and parcels
  • Focus on providing guests with opportunities to upgrade their initial booking
