About The Position

Allegro Parkland, a senior living community, is seeking a Full-Time Overnight Floor Care Technician. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors, carpets, and common areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, thrives independently, and understands the importance of a well-maintained environment for residents. The position operates on an overnight schedule from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Prior floor care, carpet cleaning, or custodial experience strongly preferred.
Experience with commercial floor cleaning equipment is a plus.
Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently overnight.
Strong attention to detail and takes pride in a job done right.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Minimum of one (1) year maintenance-related experience including working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems.
Must be an independent worker with effective communication skills able to multi-task and be organized.
Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
If assigned driving responsibilities, must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Responsibilities

Perform carpet cleaning and extraction throughout the community.
Execute floor care and deep-cleaning projects with precision and ownership.
Strip, wax, buff, and polish hard surface floors as needed.
Maintain cleaning equipment properly and report any maintenance concerns.
Take full ownership of a clean, safe, and beautiful environment every overnight shift.
Ensure the community looks its best for residents upon waking.
