About The Position

The primary purpose of the position is to oversee the overnight shift. This person will work at multiple locations and adapt to changing company needs. This position also provides direct care to individuals as needed. All duties are subject to policy, procedure and management directives, and may be changed at any time.

Requirements

Be 18 years or older, with a high school diploma preferred.
Have three years of experience delivering services to individuals with disabilities, and six months of supervisory experience.
Possess a valid driver’s license, have access to an insured vehicle, have a clean driving record, and need to pass a DHS background study.
Exhibit basic computer skills to be successful in this position.

Responsibilities

Monitoring and supporting overnight staff to ensure quality care and adherence to policies.
Providing direct care, including assisting with hygiene, health, and safety routines as needed.
Ensuring the home environment is clean, secure, and well-maintained during night hours.
Maintain all individual records and on-site Synova Group/Genesis Group Homes’ records, periodically audit records to ensure compliance.
Handling emergencies or incidents that arise overnight, including documentation and communication.
Assist individuals according to the SP and SPA with daily routines including, but not limited to, household tasks, cooking and eating, individual self-care, socializing, use of leisure time, health and safety, money management and behavior management.
