About The Position

The Overnight Express Driver works onsite in Viking Coca-Cola’s distribution network, delivering products to branch locations. The driver uses handheld devices and printers for invoicing, follows check-in and sorting procedures upon returning to the warehouse, maintains a clean company vehicle, and interacts professionally and courteously with customers and team members.

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver's License.
Pass a Motor Vehicle Check and comply with the Vehicle Safety Policy.
Knowledge of traffic laws and proficiency in defensive driving.
Strong written and organizational skills for accurate paperwork.
Effective communication skills.
Basic math skills for invoicing.
Comfort using handheld devices and other technology.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Complete the vehicle check-out process and verify inventory before departure.
Deliver products to branch locations.
Unload products and pick up damaged or returned items.
Manage logistics for empty shells, CO2, and pallets.
Interact professionally and courteously with customers and team members.
Use handheld devices and printers for invoicing.
Follow check-in protocols and sort items upon return to the warehouse.
Maintain the cleanliness of the company vehicle.
