About The Position

Direct Care Staff will provide spiritual leadership and encouragement to residents while also continually supervising THRIVE students. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of residents during overnight shifts, assisting with daily routines, and ministering to students as opportunities arise.

Requirements

• Must be a person of spiritual maturity.
• Must be amiable to the Assemblies of God doctrine.
• Must be in full agreement with the ATCOT mission statement.
• Knowledge of Christian discipleship and mentor relationships.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• 30 hours of training in childcare or a related field (Provided by THRIVE).
• Maintain First Aid and CPR certification (Certification training provided by THRIVE).
• At least 1-year full-time ministry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual leadership and encouragement to residents.
• Continuously supervise THRIVE students.
• Perform regular student checks during the shift.
• Work with other departments to comply with COGNIA & TCUSA regulations.
• Assist with and prepare breakfast for the next shift.
• Manage laundry and stock paper products.
• Check messages and maintain a list.
• Set house alarm and charge cameras.
• Use a checklist to monitor supplies.
• Search for contraband in designated areas (rec room, living room, dining room).
• Check air filters, light bulbs, and water containers.
• Administer discipline according to THRIVE policies.
• Minister to students as opportunities arise or during scheduled sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or Campus Manager.
