About The Position

At TDP Bakery, we believe fresh bakery products are simply better. Through our BakeFace brand and partner-label products, we bring Honestly Fresh baked goods to thousands of locations each day. We are currently hiring full-time Overnight Route Drivers to deliver fresh-baked doughnuts from our Raleigh Distribution Center to local customers. We provide the training, equipment, and delivery truck. TDP Bakery is a rapidly growing manufacturer and self-distributor of fresh bakery products while maintaining the values of a family-owned business.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Available to work between 4:00 PM and 4:00 AM
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years
• Ability to provide a three-year MVR prior to interview
• Successfully pass a drug screen, including marijuana testing
• Ability to safely operate a 10-foot box truck
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
• Availability to work overnight shifts between 4 PM and 4 AM (shift schedule may vary) on any day of the week, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Minimum of 40 hours per week

Nice To Haves

• Prior route driving, delivery driving, or DSD experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip inspections and load products
• Safely operate company vehicles
• Use handheld technology for routing and documentation
• Deliver and merchandise products
• Remove expired products and document inventory
• Maintain professional customer relationships
• Unload returns and clean equipment
