About The Position

TDP Bakery is hiring Overnight Route Drivers to deliver fresh-baked products from their Baton Rouge distribution center to local customers. They provide paid training, equipment, and delivery vehicles. The role involves performing pre-trip vehicle inspections, loading and organizing products, safely operating a 10-foot box truck, using handheld devices for route management, delivering products accurately, verifying invoices, rotating stock, removing expired products, restocking according to planograms, maintaining professional customer interactions, and unloading returns while cleaning the vehicle and equipment after routes. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Minimum 3 years of consistent driving history with a valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain a copy of past three-year driving record (MVR) prior to interview
• Availability to work overnight shifts between 6 PM–6 AM, including weekends
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly
• Comfortable driving a 10-foot box truck in various traffic conditions
• Clean pre-employment drug screen required, including marijuana
• Strong safety awareness, professionalism, and coachability
• Minimum of 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections using handheld devices
• Load and organize products for delivery routes
• Safely operate a 10-foot box truck while following all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Use handheld devices and navigation tools for route management
• Deliver products accurately to stores, verify invoices, rotate stock, remove expired products, and restock according to planograms
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and store personnel
• Unload returns and clean vehicle/equipment after routes
