About The Position
This role involves providing general administrative and office support for a Summer Vocal Music Camp. The primary focus is on ensuring the smooth operation of the camp from a logistical and camper well-being perspective, particularly during overnight hours.
Requirements
- Little to minimal prior experience required.
- Ability to learn support processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Prepare decorations, welcome signs, and welcome activities before the camp begins.
- Check in campers on Sunday evening.
- Ensure campers understand and adhere to camp rules.
- Organize evening activities such as game nights and ice cream trips.
- Verify that each camper checks into their dorm each night and is in their room by lights out.
- Ensure campers attend breakfast and check in for their first morning activity on campus.
- Handle keycard issues in coordination with conference staff.
- Manage emergencies in conjunction with public safety.
- Address issues related to roommates, homesickness, and other camper concerns.
- Oversee camper check-out and clean-up on Saturday morning.
