About The Position

Overnight counselors are responsible for the care and supervision of students. This is an awake overnight position. This position works with children and adolescents in a treatment setting. Primary duties include providing safety, supervision, and responding to situations or concerns that arise over the course of the overnight shift, and preparing students for daily activities in the morning, as needed.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age
Two (2) years of college or other related post high-school education
OR four (4) years of experience in childcare or the human services field

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree and one (1) or more years' experience in the childcare or human services field is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Providing safety and supervision for students during overnight shifts.
Responding to situations or concerns that arise during the overnight shift.
Preparing students for daily activities in the morning, as needed.
