About The Position

The Omni William Penn Hotel, a landmark of elegance in downtown Pittsburgh since 1916, is seeking an Overnight Cleaner. The ideal candidate is a friendly, motivated individual passionate about service, who will contribute to the hotel's tradition of excellence by performing cleaning duties and assisting the Overnight Supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be organized
• Willing to follow a checklist
• Able to push at least 200 lbs.
• Able to bend and kneel and reach closet shelves, windows, ledges, pipes, under beds and behind furniture
• Continuously standing and/or walking to accomplish all that is required for position
• Able to communicate effectively through radio
• Flexible and able to work overnights, weekends and holidays
• Must be available Monday - Sunday, from 1030PM-7PM

Responsibilities

• Cleaning hallways
• Emptying garbage
• Delivering linen to multiple places and floors
• Performing other duties as assigned by Overnight Supervisor
• Responsible for night duty check
• Completes guest requests
• Monitors inventory of supplies and equipment
• Removes room service trays and carrying dirty dishes to service area
• Carrying dirty linen to laundry chute
• Carrying supplies from department to assigned floor
