Requirements

• Active, valid New Jersey CHHA certification
• Valid NJ driver's license and reliable transportation
• Availability for overnight shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Genuine compassion for elderly and vulnerable populations
• Ability to safely perform physical care tasks including transfers and lifting

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene support
• Transfers and mobility assistance
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Medication reminders
• Vital signs monitoring (as directed)
• Companionship and emotional support
• Overnight supervision and safety monitoring
• Light housekeeping during downtime
• Meal prep and feeding assistance if needed
• Accurate documentation and shift notes
• Communication with care coordinators and families
