About The Position
This role is offering 24-32 hours per week. Candidates MUST be available from 10pm - 6am and weekends to be considered. This is not an official job description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform: You could expect the position of center store clerk to include the following: DUTIES: • Provide friendly and courteous service to customers • Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job. • Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments. • Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors • Read and understand shelf tags • Sort damaged product for credit • Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler • Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler TRAINING Training will be provided at store level.
Requirements
- Candidates MUST be available from 10pm - 6am and weekends to be considered.

- Able to stock 50 cases per hour
- Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
- Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
- Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
- Able to pull loaded stock truck
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Working on feet entire shift (4-8hours)
Nice To Haves
- minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (Store/Facility Teammates)
- minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (Store Support Center Teammates)
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
Responsibilities
