About The Position

This role involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers. A key function of the job is regular, reliable attendance. Responsibilities include stocking, straightening, and rotating product in various departments such as Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery. The clerk will process incoming product from the warehouse and direct store delivery vendors, read and understand shelf tags, and sort damaged product for credit. Operation of a hand jack, power lift, and cardboard baler is required, along with adherence to company safety guidelines when using these tools. Maintaining the cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler, and freezer is essential. The position also requires meeting company productivity standards, and other duties may be assigned by store management.

Requirements

• 18 years or older to apply
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
• Able to stock 50 cases per hour
• Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
• Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
• Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
• Able to pull loaded stock truck
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store/Facility Teammates)
• Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store Support Center Teammates)
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance
