About The Position

Homewatch CareGivers of Austin is hiring overnight in-home Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA), and Personal Care Providers. You work with a small set of clients you get to know well, on overnight shifts that stay consistent week to week. Homewatch CareGivers offers comprehensive one-on-one home care services, and we believe exceptional training leads to a more rewarding experience for you and better care for clients. Requirements

  • One or more years of caregiving experience in home care or a skilled facility
  • Comfortable working overnight and staying awake through the shift
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Compassionate, reliable, and comfortable working independently

Nice To Haves

  • CNA, HHA, or PCP certification preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

  • Stay awake and alert through the shift, keeping clients safe at home
  • Assist with bathroom trips, transfers, and repositioning during the night
  • Help with the evening routine at the start of the shift and the morning routine at the end
  • Reassure and redirect clients who wake up confused or disoriented
  • Handle laundry, light housekeeping, and meal prep during quiet hours
  • Report changes in a client's condition to the care team
  • Complete 12 hours of annual training through Caregiver University
