About The Position

United Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Overnight Caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in the Barona area. This role offers a consistent weekend overnight schedule and is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping seniors remain safe and comfortable in their own homes. The position involves providing overnight supervision, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities, ensuring the client's safety and well-being throughout the night.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• Experience with personal care and overnight shifts
• Comfortable assisting with transfers and mobility support
• Experience using a gait belt is preferred
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the Barona area
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance (preferred)
• HCA Registered (or willing to obtain)
• Current TB test and CPR certification (or willingness to update)

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight supervision and companionship
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care as needed
• Help with bedtime and morning routines
• Assist with transfers and mobility support
• Monitor for changes in condition and ensure client safety
• Light housekeeping and meal/snack preparation
• Medication reminders
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Document care provided and communicate updates with the care team
