About The Position

Visiting Angels of the Upper Ohio Valley is seeking a compassionate and reliable overnight caregiver to join our team. As an overnight caregiver, you will provide attentive, non-medical support to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our client during nighttime hours. We are looking for someone who finds purpose in helping others and providing comfort through the night. Visiting Angels provides a variety of non-medical services that allow us to work one-on-one with seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with compassion, dignity and care.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a Valid Drivers License and Proof of car insurance
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening
• Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy
• Dependable and attentive during overnight hours
• Ability to remain alert and responsive throughout the shift

Nice To Haves

• Prior caregiving experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor client throughout the night and respond to needs promptly
• Provide personal care assistance as needed
• Help with repositioning and mobility support
• Maintain a calm, safe, and clean environment
• Offer reassurance, companionship, and emotional support
