About The Position
Overnight (NOC) Caregiver for Villa Redondo Care. Villa Redondo is an assisted living facility for the elderly community (ages 59+) located in Downtown Long Beach, CA. We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers who have the passion to help the elderly and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Requirements
- Able to pass DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
- Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
- High school diploma or GED required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in caregiving and medical administration preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily assignments, ensuring completion in assistance with resident Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
- Progressive documentation and communication with physician and /or medical professional.
- Ensure that residents stay stress-free as much as possible by working with medical professionals in regards to reducing of pain while promoting engagement and independence.
- Maintains good composure during emergencies and maintains a safe work environment.
- Communicates clearly, calmly and effectively with residents, families and Wellness Coordinator with any changes or resident concerns
- Complete any outstanding paperwork for the day including filing, logging medication and centrally stored record
- Additional duties as assigned by Administration
