About The Position

Right at Home is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide overnight care for an elderly female client in Creston, Iowa. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Meets state requirements for direct patient care providers
Successful completion of required competency evaluations

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred
CPR certification preferred
Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, HHA, or healthcare experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Medication reminders
Overnight supervision and safety monitoring
Meal and snack preparation
Light housekeeping and laundry
Mobility assistance and transfers
Dementia and memory care support
Companionship and emotional support
Engaging the client in meaningful activities such as conversation, reading, music, puzzles, and games
Reporting any changes in the client's condition to the care team
