About The Position

At Too Sweet Cakes, we are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Overnight Bakery Team Members to support our production operations. This role is part of our overnight bakery team and is responsible for executing production during late-night and early-morning hours to ensure orders are ready for daily distribution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment and takes pride in consistency, organization, and craftsmanship.

Requirements

Food Handler Certificate required.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50-75 lbs occasionally.
Open availability and schedule flexibility is a MUST.
Must be comfortable working early morning shifts.

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of baking or pastry experience is preferred but not required.
Understanding of proper pastry methods, techniques, and industry standards.
A strong interest in high-quality baked goods and the food industry.
Excellent ability to manage time and meet deadlines efficiently.
A keen eye for detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

Execute overnight production of wholesale baked goods according to daily and weekly schedules
Prepare ingredients, assemble products, and bake items following standardized recipes and procedures
Collaborate and communicate effectively with the Back of House Manager and overnight team
Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, and other production tools
Monitor product quality throughout the baking process and make adjustments as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety standards
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and shelf-life management of all products
Work with urgency and accuracy to meet production deadlines and quality expectations
Perform additional tasks as assigned based on production and business needs
