About The Position

Right at Home of Ventura County is seeking two caregivers for clients in Camarillo. This part-time position involves providing personal care and companion care, including assistance with daily living activities, supervision for safety, meal preparation, dementia care, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments and shopping. Each client has unique needs, and caregivers will be matched to the best fit.

Requirements

High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
Possess or are able to get a Home Care Aid license
Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
Have a valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation

Responsibilities

Assist with bathing, dressing, transfers, and other activities of daily living
Supervision for safety
Preparing a delicious meal
Dementia Care
Light housekeeping/Laundry
Safely drive client to appointments and shopping
