About The Position

We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Overhead Crane Operator to join our night shift team. The Crane Operator will safely operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment to move, position, load, and unload materials throughout the facility while maintaining a strong focus on safety and productivity.

Requirements

  • Previous crane operating experience preferred.
  • Experience with overhead, bridge, or jib cranes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safe lifting and rigging practices.
  • Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Ability to work the assigned night shift.

Responsibilities

  • Operate overhead, bridge, and jib cranes safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect cranes, hoists, hooks, slings, chains, and rigging equipment before use.
  • Safely lift, move, position, and load materials according to instructions.
  • Follow load limits, rigging procedures, and all safety requirements.
  • Properly secure loads using approved rigging equipment.
  • Communicate with ground personnel and other operators during lifting operations.
  • Monitor loads and maintain safe clearance from people and equipment.
  • Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or mechanical issues immediately.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Follow company, OSHA, and facility safety procedures.
  • Complete required inspection and production records.
  • Meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.
