Works in the community in overdose prevention services. May work in syringe service exchange programs. May assist in hosting support groups and providing direct services to those in addiction and in recovery. May work on mobile outreach units and in community centers. Makes visits to homes and other sites promoting services, scheduling appointments and any necessary follow-up outreach services and follow-up services for potential clients and individuals already in the programs such as Well Child, Family Planning, Aging, TB and WIC.
