About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Over-the-Road (OTR) CDL Driver to transport freight across regional and national routes. The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, maintain compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations, and provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Current DOT medical certificate.
Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety.
Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol screening.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, when required.
Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating tractor-trailers (preferred; entry-level drivers with accredited training may be considered).

Responsibilities

Operate a commercial tractor-trailer safely and efficiently on long-haul routes.
Transport freight according to delivery schedules while complying with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport.
Maintain accurate logs, trip records, fuel receipts, and required documentation using electronic logging devices (ELDs).
Plan routes to maximize efficiency while meeting customer delivery requirements.
Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding shipment status, delays, and route changes.
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Keep the truck clean and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
