About The Position

As a Class A CDL OTR Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of goods at various locations across the country. The ideal Class A CDL OTR Driver adheres to American Furniture Warehouse’s quality expectations and safety standards.

Requirements

Must have a CDL with at least one year of recent OTR experience with similar equipment.
No major FMCSA violations.
Clean MVR with no at-fault D.O.T reportable accidents within the last three years.
Must have no restriction on CDL and be able to maintain a CDL.
Must be based / live within 100 miles of an American Furniture Warehouse DC.
Basic computer skills required.
Class A CDL without restrictions.

Responsibilities

Responsible for delivering our products in a safe, timely and accurate manner.
Operate 53' dry Vans requiring an appropriate CDL license
use of electronic logging device, ELD
Report any vehicle problems and defects to the on-site truck maintenance department.
Comply with all state, local and national Department of Transportation standards and regulations while maintaining a good driving record.
Reinforce the American Furniture Warehouse high standards of customer service by consistently delivering orders on time and in a courteous and professional manner.

HOME WEEKLY with 34-48 hours of home time.
Weekly payroll.
Average yearly starting pay is between $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
Pay starting at $.55-.57 CPM DOE
Average 3,000 miles per week.
