About The Position

NY Pie is hiring Ovens/Expo Team Members at its Nashville West location. Team members work in a warm, friendly, fast-paced pizzeria environment and are expected to provide extraordinary customer service and demonstrate a professional, courteous attitude and strong work ethic. The position combines oven and food-preparation duties with expediting food from the kitchen to service staff. The schedule may be full-time or part-time and is flexible; daytime flexibility is preferred. Pay is $19–$21 per hour including tips, based on experience, with the potential to earn more by learning multiple roles. Ovens team members set up and stock cooking stations, prepare ingredients, cook menu items to order, and plate food according to restaurant specifications. They maintain station cleanliness and equipment, follow food-safety regulations, and coordinate with other team members so food is prepared and served efficiently. Expeditors manage the kitchen pass and coordinate orders between the kitchen and front-of-house staff. They organize tickets so table orders are completed together, check dishes for accuracy and presentation, communicate special requests and dietary restrictions, and coordinate timely food pickup by servers. They also keep the pass area clean, organized, and safe. NY Pie describes its workplace as engaging and offers rewards, bonuses, competitions, team-building activities, and free food.
