The Oven Operator is responsible for receiving the garments from the oven machine, conducting quality checks and ensuring order counts accuracy. Requirements

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical skills and ability to read and understand measurements
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • Ability to walk and stand for an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 30 lbs
  • Able to work overtime, including Saturdays if needed
  • Able to wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job functions (appropriate footwear)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Verify information regarding the design; check the garment color and quantity of pieces to be printed
  • Verify the quality of the designs once garments are printed. Communicate with the Operator of the machine if any issues to stop and fix design
  • Verify quantity of order by size as it’s coming out of the oven
  • Maintain and clean the machine
  • Assist the machine operator with other duties
  • Clean supplies
  • Keeps all sensitive matters confidential
  • Other duties as assigned
