About The Position

We are currently seeking an individual looking to take that next step in advancing their career path by accepting the engaging and fulfilling role as an Outsourced Accounting Senior in our Tallahassee office. If you enjoy providing outsourced accounting and bookkeeping consulting services, meeting with clients in-person and/or virtually, assisting with leading a team, and are looking to gain more expertise in a client accounting services specialization, then this is the perfect role for you! Requirements

  • Have at least 3 years of bookkeeping or related experience in a professional office environment
  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration/Management, or Accounting, with relevant experience is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate complex data clearly
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Great interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
  • Willing to assume responsibility for assigned work without undue supervision
  • Has the ability to train and supervise other members of an accounting team
  • Highly proficient with Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Bill.com, QuickBooks online and Sage preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
  • Conduct reviews of work completed by other members of the team
  • Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
  • Maintain historical records by filing documents.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Communicate with clients and team members to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
