About The Position

Point Spring & Driveshaft Co. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to build strong relationships, grow the customer base, and contribute to the company's forward momentum. This role involves being an expert on company products and services, identifying customer needs, offering tailored solutions, and meeting sales goals. The representative will also stay informed on market trends, collaborate with internal teams, and participate in strategic planning to expand market share and revenue. The company has been in business since 1926 and has locations across PA, OH, and WV, known for reliable service, quality parts, and a dedicated team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in heavy duty truck, industrial, or automotive industries.
  • 2+ years of outside sales or customer-facing experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Comfort with technology (email, CRM, Microsoft Office, mobile tools).

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in heavy duty truck, automotive, or diesel parts sales.
  • Account and customer relationship management.
  • Familiarity with commercial fleets, drivetrains, and repair shop operations.
  • Experience using CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Be the expert on all company products and service offerings.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships across assigned territory.
  • Identify customer needs and offer tailored product solutions.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and margin targets, as well as track sales activities.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging customer needs.
  • Collaborate with branch, delivery, and inside sales teams to ensure high service levels.
  • Participate in strategic planning to expand market share and grow revenue.
