Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field
  • 5 years of sales experience and/or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent time management skills required, both in and out of the office
  • Strong desire to serve customers with a positive attitude
  • High degree of independence, self-motivation and self-direction, especially with regard to identifying and managing high priority projects, in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess the ability to think and solve problems with creative understanding.
  • Must have a good eye for detail and be able to suggest process/specification modifications as required
  • Ability to competently deliver sales presentations
  • Understand budgeting and forecasting
  • Understand product line profitability and cost structuring, in order to provide accurate estimates and pricing
  • Able to work cooperatively with peers to achieve established goals.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Basic computer and database skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Adobe Acrobat and MS Outlook
  • Very accurate near vision (20/20) and accurate far vision (20/40) required
  • Minimal color discrimination and depth perception required
  • Ability to hear a whispered voice at 3 feet

Responsibilities

  • Identify revenue opportunities within customers’ communities through communications, programs and other activities as needed
  • Generates sales within the company’s established trading partners
  • Responds to requests from customers for information and give presentations
  • Prospects for and generates sales with new accounts
  • Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on industry trends and market competition
  • Any other relevant duties that may be assigned
