About The Position

As a clerical employee in a distribution facility, you will work quick, safely, and efficiently to accurately process multiple tasks within the distribution center to ensure our customers are able to receive the merchandise ordered in a timely fashion. You’ll do this while working with partners in clerical, supervision, managers, and warehouse associates. You’ll also perform other clerical assignments as necessary within the office. The ability to work as a team member rather than an individual is imperative. You will work independently managing and prioritizing multiple responsibilities and tasks, and work in collaboration with external partners and vendors to quickly resolve problems. It is expected you report to work on time and have exemplary attendance to complete job tasks assigned and on time to contribute to the overall distribution center results.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; and the warehouse management system.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with others in a close working environment.
  • Work as a team with internal and external employees of the company; ability to work effectively with other staff members to accomplish tasks and departmental projects.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; to manage competing demands; to manage priorities amidst frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a strong sense of urgency to meet established deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Initiates transfer of inventory being sent to and from offsite
  • Reconciles inventory working from a list of lot numbers and quantities provided by the forecasting group
  • Communicate with the 3PL to schedule pick up and provide needed shipping documents
  • Identify and coordinate locations of the inventory and communicate with the 3PL
  • Assign and delete pick bins for inventory based on demand and volume for lot numbers
  • Work with WMI and DOCS for scheduling ECOM orders
  • Crosstrain in other departments
  • Other duties as assigned
