About The Position

The Outside Services Attendant will be the first contact to our guests. Must be friendly and willing to be helpful in any way possible to make our guests feel welcome.

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to interpret documents and reports.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems and situations reasonably.
  • Must be able to work opening and closing shifts.
  • Must be able to work on weekends and holidays.

  • Prior knowledge of golf
  • Gaming License issued by Paskenta Gaming Commission.
  • Valid California driver’s license, RBS Certificate
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear.
  • Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequently balancing; frequently stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
  • Regularly required to use fingers, hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
  • Under pressure to assist customers quickly and efficiently.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Employees must regularly lift up to 40 pounds and/or occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Arrive for each scheduled shift on time, in proper uniform, with a positive attitude and ready to perform assigned duties.
  • Communicate effectively using a two-way radio.
  • Work closely with the Golf Shop staff and contribute as a team player.
  • Perform daily setup and maintenance duties, including staging golf carts, preparing for special events or tournaments, setting up the driving range, and ensuring all golf areas are clean, organized, and ready for play to present the best possible product each day.
  • Operate the range ball picker; collect, wash, and restock range balls into the driving range ball dispenser.
  • Stage additional carts as needed and wash, clean, and restock carts returning from the golf course.
  • Use tactful and professional behavior when assisting golfers in maintaining a four-hour and sixteen-minute pace of play.
  • Remain visible and readily available to assist golfing guests with pace-of-play concerns and on-course emergencies.
  • Enforce pace-of-play policies consistently to ensure all guests enjoy an exceptional golfing experience.
  • Frequently report the status of the pace of play on the course to the golf shop staff, and situations that need attention, and/or emergencies.
  • Ensure all golf carts must be washed, restocked with pencil, scorecard, seed and sand, coolers are emptied, ensure golf cars are in good working order and properly returned to the cart barn and plugged into the charger.
  • Clean and account for all rental clubs.
  • Clean cart barn, staging area, driving range, putting and chipping greens.
  • Ensure that all golfers are off the golf course.
  • Pick up flagsticks on putting greens, return the radio to the charger, turn lights off and help lock up.
  • Put away all equipment used for the day (power washer, ball washer).
  • Make sure carts are properly stored for the evening.
