About The Position

Creates a positive experience by assisting guests and members with outside support services.

Knowledge in processes associated with golf cart cleaning and maintenance.
Knowledge of processes in preparing golf carts for play.
Knowledge of standard operating procedures associated with range maintenance, golf ball collection and basic golf ball inventory levels.
Knowledge of golf course rules and player etiquette.
Skill in repetitive but thorough tasks in preparing golf carts for play.
Skill in multi-tasking responsibilities associated with clubhouse, cart storage and parking lot.
Ability to anticipate player needs and provide assistance in a timely fashion.
Ability to create a positive experience for golfers by offering any assistance needed.
Ability to assist other golf course personnel, as needed.
Ability to create an extraordinary, memorable experience for golfers and guests.
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat, cold and rain.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to stoop, bend and squat as associated with responsibilities of the job.
One to three months experience in an outdoor support setting specifically related to direct customer service.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.

Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
Provides courteous service to all guests with items such as handling golf bags and club cleaning.
Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion including the podium and bag drop area.
Maintains the cart storage and wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
Prepares golf carts for play.
Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy and speed of play.
Assists players by changing their golf spikes, if needed.
Performs range maintenance such as presenting practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies and/or ball pyramids; maintains ball inventory over the course of the day.
May direct start of play, as needed.
Maintains accurate records of rental club distribution and return.
Assists guests who are renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return.
Assists with food and beverage requests.
Cleans golfers’ clubs upon completion of play.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
