About The Position

New Berlin Hills Golf Course, located in New Berlin, WI, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Outside Service Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. This is a seasonal position expected to last 6 months or less.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months to one year of customer service experience or training
• Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot.
• Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
• Maintains the cart storage area and cart wash-down area in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
• Prepares golf carts for play following the standards of Troon.
• Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, and speed of play.
• Assists players by changing their golf spikes, if needed.
• Performs range maintenance, including presenting the practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies, or ball pyramids, and maintaining ball inventory over the course of the day.
• Directs the start of play when necessary.
• Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
• Services customers renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return.
• Assists with food and beverage activities.
• Cleans golfers' clubs upon completion of play.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
