About The Position

Williams Form Engineering has been a leader in manufacturing quality products for the Construction and Fastener Industries for over 80 years. Our construction products are divided into three main categories: Concrete Forming Hardware and Accessories; Rock and Concrete Anchor Bolts; and Post Tensioning Systems. We design and manufacture these products with pride and provide them at fair marketable prices. Each product line is complete with engineering, installation, and testing equipment with onsite technical support available. If you are looking for a fast-paced, challenging career with a family-oriented company, Williams Concrete Accessories, a division of Williams Form Engineering, is looking for dedicated and driven candidates to fill an Outside Sales position based out of our Kent, WA facility. This position is responsible for generating sales with existing customers in addition to developing new customer opportunities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Product knowledge or industry experience an asset, including concrete construction, precast, and related aspects of heavy construction
  • Ability to read and understand work-related material
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; exceptional customer relations
  • Valid Drivers License and dependable transportation required
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder

Responsibilities

  • Schedule appointments and visit customers to review product needs and determine other opportunities.
  • Provide product quotes as required.
  • Open new accounts.
  • Continuously update customers on product changes and modifications.
  • Provide solutions to customer concerns.
  • Liaison between customers and the company for up-to-date status of services, pricing, and new products.
  • Prepare reports for marketing and sales.
  • Perform maintenance and updating for customer accounts, including contact names for future sales.
  • Keep up to date on new products, services, procedures, and tools by attending training and departmental meetings.
  • Perform jobsite technical assistance when needed.
  • Keep track of and manage orders; including writing change orders, material returns, and credit requests.
