About The Position

As a Business Development Leader, you will lead from the front, driving your own production while developing and managing a team of Business Development Representatives. This is a high-impact, field-based leadership role focused on speaking directly with homeowners, generating qualified leads, setting appointments, and coaching a team to hit performance goals. This role is ideal for top-performing Business Development Representatives or experienced canvassing professionals who are ready to step into leadership, take ownership of results, and accelerate their career into sales or upper-level leadership. If you're willing to lead by example, hold a team accountable, and push through challenges, this outside sales team lead / business development leader role offers a clear path to Sales or Sales Leadership within 6-12 months. You are responsible for your results AND your team's results. You will coach others through rejection, inconsistency, and growth. You will need to hold others accountable - even when it's uncomfortable. You will work outdoors in varying weather conditions, daily and stay active on your feet throughout your shift. This is a performance-driven leadership role, not a management-from-the-sidelines position. People who succeed in this position are competitive, disciplined, and able to lead others while maintaining their own performance.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in door-to-door sales, canvassing, or business development
  • Proven performance in a sales or lead generation role
  • Leadership experience OR strong desire to lead and develop others
  • Strong communication, coaching, and accountability skills
  • Comfortable speaking with new people face-to-face
  • Competitive and goal-oriented mindset
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated
  • Team player with a positive, coachable attitude
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Reliable transportation to and from assigned territories

Responsibilities

  • Coach and train Business Development Representatives on door-to-door strategy, communication, and objection handling
  • Set daily expectations and hold team members accountable to performance goals
  • Support onboarding and development of new hires
  • Knock doors and generate your own leads and appointments
  • Ensure team lead generation and appointment goals are consistently met
  • Track team performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain strong energy and momentum in the field
  • Be active in the field daily
  • Demonstrate consistency, resilience, and a strong work ethic
  • Represent Panda Exteriors professionally and positively
