About The Position

The Aquatic Sales Specialist is responsible for receiving qualified leads from the business development team and closing lead deals. The Aquatic Sales Specialist is also responsible for demonstrating the product, handling prospective client’s objections, and drafting and closing contracts for new customers. This role involves entering sales orders and bids, expediting purchases, and maintaining customer communication to ensure an accurate and timely order process. The specialist will work with the Marketing Department to maintain product literature files and create new print material, quarterly campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives. Additionally, the role requires attending trade shows and sales events. For renovation sales, responsibilities include attending pre-bid meetings, budgeting and bidding projects for various renovation types, creating and closing renovation project contracts, and informing the service/renovation crew of closed projects. The position requires meeting or exceeding monthly Gross Profit dollar targets and establishing and maintaining relationships with industry professionals.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Driver’s License
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Must have reliable vehicle and willing to travel
  • Must be comfortable using social media to promote sales

Responsibilities

  • Schedule on-site sales calls from pre-qualified leads
  • Inform clients on options that fit their requirements
  • Conduct product demonstrations for potential clients
  • Inform clients of price breakdowns
  • Coordinate with the Service Department to determine scheduling and then inform client on estimated service or delivery
  • Create contract terms and send to potential clients
  • Close signed contracts or process Po’s
  • Complete lead spreadsheet with closed sales as a measurable
  • Complete CRM software daily to track leads, sales and follow ups
  • Inform internal service of closed deal to put on schedule
  • Enter Sales Orders and Bids
  • Expedite purchases
  • Maintain customer communication to ensure an accurate and timely order process
  • Work with the Marketing Department to maintain product literature files
  • Meet or exceed monthly required Gross Profit dollar targets
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Operators, Builders, Designers, etc.
  • Assist customers, assess their needs, guide their product selections, and successfully close sales
  • Breed productive relationships to create a pool of prospective clients from various sources by networking, cold calling, using referrals etc.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Department to create new print material, quarterly campaigns, customer engagement, etc.
  • Attend trade shows, sales events, etc.
