About The Position
EquipmentShare is hiring an Outside Sales Retail Account Manager, Heavy Equipment at their rental facility in Wichita, KS. This role involves building relationships with construction equipment buyers and prospective clients, becoming an expert in heavy equipment sales, and managing a book of business. The company aims to transform the construction industry through innovative technology and customer support. The position offers a base salary plus uncapped commission and is focused on building long-lasting customer relationships rather than transactional interactions. The role also involves developing new sales strategies and potentially managing sales pipelines for other markets.
Requirements
- 2 or more years of experience in B2B sales in the construction-related industry.
- A drive to provide a fantastic customer service experience.
- Driven and an influencer that is never satisfied with “good enough” results.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Willingness to solve any problem thrown your way.
Nice To Haves
- Industry knowledge (rental or construction equipment) and experience in B2B sales is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an advocate and expert for EquipmentShare and certain construction equipment brands.
- Build solid relationships with construction equipment buyers and prospective clients in your region.
- Educate prospective customers on the benefits of purchasing from an EquipmentShare dealership location.
- Nurture, manage, and inform relationships to keep them up-to-date on new promotions and fulfill their unique equipment needs.
- Quickly answer customer questions and thoroughly resolve issues.
- Manage sales pipelines for other nearby markets in your region.
- Develop new sales strategies and techniques to grow your business and the company’s footprint.
