About The Position

JAN-PRO Franchise Development of Greater Cincinnati/Dayton is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. This role involves working within a defined geographic territory to identify, target, and sign new commercial clients for cleaning and disinfecting services. The representative will be responsible for cold calling, cultivating relationships, setting appointments, gathering leads, assessing prospect needs, and closing business in the field. The company supports JAN-PRO Cleaning & Disinfecting, a global leader in commercial cleaning services, recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as the #1 commercial cleaning franchise for 15 consecutive years. The company focuses on assisting entrepreneurs in building their own businesses in a fast-growing industry.

Requirements

  • Persistent style and willingness to cold call without issues of rejection.
  • Ability to manage time well.
  • Ability to present ideas clearly and professionally on paper, in person, and over the phone.

  • Skills including teamwork, resilience, negotiating, trust-building, and a "win" mentality.
  • Prior quota-carrying experience.
  • Ability to successfully build a network.
  • Effectively use social media for sales.

Nice To Haves

  • Three years of prior outside sales experience is preferred.
  • A college degree is recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently and collaboratively within an assigned geography to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals.
  • Implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ambassador to prospects and the overall network, demonstrating grace under pressure and high ethical standards.
  • Conduct on-site surveys, develop needs assessments, and create customized proposals.
  • Close contracts with businesses for cleaning services.
