About The Position

Stuart Hose & Pipe, a SunSource company, is the leading hose and pipe distributor in the Southwest with over 70,000 in-stock products. They service a vast range of markets including Oil & Gas, Petrochem, Industrial, Food & Beverage, Construction, Agriculture and many more. They are looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative to own and grow sales in Midland, TX, building strong customer relationships while expanding their footprint with new accounts. This role involves solving problems in the field, not just selling parts.

Requirements

HS Diploma or GED
2+ years of industrial sales experience
Mechanically inclined and comfortable working in industrial environments
Strong communicator who can build credibility with plant managers, maintenance teams, and buyers
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the territory

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in related field
Experience with sales of hose, pipe, fittings, gaskets, etc., or closely related products

Responsibilities

Manage and grow existing accounts while aggressively developing new business within the assigned territory.
Uncover customer needs, recommend solutions, and become a trusted partner.
Source new opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and referrals.
Meet or exceed revenue and margin goals.
Recommend hose, pipe, and related products based on real-world applications.
Investigate customer challenges and deliver practical, value-driven solutions.
Keep up with industry trends, products, and best practices.
Collaborate with operations, customer service, and technical teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Maintain accurate records, quotes, and customer interactions.
