About The Position
Humbug Holiday Lighting is growing rapidly and seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to help scale the business. This is initially a part-time, 1099 role with a clear path to full-time W2 employment for high performers. The role is ideal for a self-starter who excels at closing deals and generating opportunities, offering a chance to build a high-income sales career with uncapped potential. The company focuses on landscape and permanent lighting solutions and is a growing, in-demand category with a strong brand presence in Middle Tennessee.
Requirements
- Proven outside or in-home sales experience (home services a plus)
- Strong closer with a track record of hitting goals
- Type A, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Comfortable with commission-based income
- Reliable vehicle & valid driver's license
- Smartphone (CRM access)
- Willingness to work evenings/weekends
Nice To Haves
- Not ideal for first-time sales reps
Responsibilities
- Run 3-5 warm inbound leads per week
- Conduct in-person consultations and lighting design sessions
- Close residential and commercial deals
- Generate own pipeline through door knocking, networking, yard signs/door hangers, and outbound calls
- Create own opportunities as this is a true outside sales role
