About The Position

They are seeking a driven and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join their team. This role is a unique blend of account management and new business development, offering the opportunity to inherit an existing book of business while also making a direct impact through new client acquisition.

Requirements

  • Prior experience within the industrial and/or MRO industry is required
  • Demonstrated success in outside sales, account management, or business development
  • Proven ability to manage an existing book of business while simultaneously pursuing new opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and a proactive approach to sales
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an inherited portfolio of existing accounts from a promoted sales representative
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with current clients to ensure retention and satisfaction
  • Actively prospect, identify, and close new business opportunities within the industrial/MRO market
  • Balance a relationship-driven account management approach with a proactive hunter mentality
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by leveraging industry knowledge and product expertise
