Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets. Our Outside Sales Reps are business builders, relationship owners, and future leaders. This is a role for someone who wants to plant roots, build a book of business, and grow year after year. Our primary product lines, nationwide, include hardwood lumber, veneer, plywood, millwork, and cabinetry.

Requirements

  • 3-10+ years in outside sales, B2B sales, or building materials
  • Knowledge of millwork, lumber, plywood, or 2-step distribution is a plus
  • CRM or DMSi Agility experience is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with existing customers
  • Prospect and win new accounts across your market
  • Drive territory sales growth and product mix
  • Partner with inside sales and operations to deliver results
  • Bring customer insight back to the branch to create opportunities
  • Work alongside vendor reps to expand market share
