Requirements

3+ years of outside sales experience in one or more of the following: Equipment rental, Construction, Heavy equipment, Building materials, Industrial sales, General contracting, Municipal sales
Experience calling on construction jobsites and commercial customers.
Ability to identify customer needs and recommend practical equipment solutions.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with branch operations.
Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

Existing relationships with contractors, builders, municipalities, or construction professionals in the Winter Park or Grand County area are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Build and grow relationships with general contractors, excavation companies, municipalities, utility contractors, landscapers, and commercial construction companies throughout Grand County and surrounding areas.
Develop new business while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
Visit jobsites daily to understand customer needs and recommend equipment solutions.
Partner with customers to help them complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Identify upcoming construction and infrastructure projects and position REIC Rentals as the preferred equipment partner.
Collaborate with branch operations to ensure exceptional customer service and equipment availability.
Prepare equipment quotes, rental agreements, and pricing proposals.
Work closely with inside sales and operations teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Represent REIC Rentals at contractor association meetings, Chamber of Commerce events, community events, and local trade shows.
Stay informed on local construction activity, market trends, and competitive opportunities.
