About The Position

Precision Automation Systems (PAS) is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative in the Magic Valley to expand our presence throughout the industrial, municipal water, irrigation, manufacturing, and infrastructure markets. At PAS, we do more than sell products. We help customers solve complex challenges through innovative automation and control solutions. Our team designs and manufactures custom control panels, motor control systems, SCADA integration solutions, instrumentation packages, VFD systems, and industrial automation products that keep critical facilities operating efficiently and reliably. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers. This individual will work closely with engineers, contractors, municipalities, industrial facilities, OEMs, and consulting engineers to promote PAS products, services, and automation solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong sales skills with the ability to understand and communicate technical solutions.

Requirements

• Comfortable discussing: Motors and VFDs, PLCs and HMI systems, SCADA and telemetry, Industrial networking, Process instrumentation, Pumping systems, Production equipment controls, Automation system upgrades, Energy efficiency projects, Predictive maintenance strategies.

• Experience selling into one or more of the following industries: Food Processing, Beverage Production, Dairy Processing, Frozen Food Manufacturing, Agricultural Processing, Chemical Processing, Industrial Manufacturing, Water & Wastewater Treatment, Irrigation and Pumping Systems, Electrical Contracting, Industrial Automation and Controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with plant managers, maintenance managers, operations personnel, engineering teams, and corporate decision makers within manufacturing and processing facilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, energy consumption, process control, production reliability, and equipment uptime through automation and control system upgrades.
• Promote modernization projects including: PLC/HMI systems, SCADA systems, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Industrial networking, Instrumentation and process controls, Motor control centers, Custom UL508A control panels, Remote monitoring solutions, Predictive maintenance technologies.
