About The Position

Charlie's Produce is a privately owned wholesale produce company and the largest privately owned produce wholesaler on the West Coast. We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help us enhance our communities through quality produce. The Outside Sales Representative will maintain excellent client relations, build sales with foodservice customers, cultivate customer satisfaction and account growth, and present new and necessary products to the market.

Requirements

  • 5 years in the produce/food industry

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test (does not include marijuana)

  • Culinary and/or Nutrition background is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Be a driven sales professional effective at cold-calling and prospecting.

  • Demonstrate administrative abilities in managing accounts and service needs.
  • Take extra steps and/or time necessary to ensure follow-through on details.

  • Manage a diverse, high-volume book of business with an emphasis on customer relations and client retention.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and grow new and preexisting industry relationships.
  • Actively listen to understand customer needs and identify opportunities to deliver meaningful value within the business relationship.
  • Be professional, punctual, and team-oriented.
