About The Position

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a driven, relationship-focused sales professional to join their MAC Architectural Metal brand in the British Columbia region. This role is responsible for growing market share, strengthening relationships, and driving revenue across the territory. The representative will work closely with builders, architects, and dealer partners, while also identifying new opportunities to expand distribution. The position involves achieving sales targets, maintaining product knowledge, identifying new business opportunities, and presenting sales solutions. Participation in industry events is also expected.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience within the building materials or construction industry
  • Proven ability to develop relationships and generate new business opportunities
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to independently manage a territory and consistently drive results
  • Self-motivated with a strategic, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including dealers, contractors, and architects
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout British Columbia and the Northwestern USA
  • Reliable vehicle available for business travel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with architectural or exterior building products is considered a strong asset

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales revenue and margin targets in the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain a high level of knowledge on products, installation and construction standards, customer needs and services, as well as an understanding of local competitive products.
  • Identify and initiate contact with relevant individuals within assigned accounts, prospects, and industry associations to identify and develop programs, projects and opportunities that have potential to generate revenues.
  • Prepare and present sales presentations, physical displays, and demonstrations for the application of MAC Metal Architectural products.
  • Participate in internal and external events, such as trade shows or industry association meetings that promote MAC Metal Architectural in the BC market.
