BWI is looking for a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage an established territory while actively developing new business opportunities. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience: 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably in a related industry
  • Skills & Strengths: Strong relationship-building and customer service skills. Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends. Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Set and achieve ambitious monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and margin goals.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by anticipating and addressing needs related to products, pricing, availability, and credit terms.
  • Recommend products and solutions tailored to customer needs to drive sales and market growth.
  • Build relationships with existing customers while actively prospecting and developing new accounts.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, explain features, and close sales.
  • Provide pricing, quotes, credit terms, warranties, and delivery timelines.
  • Follow up post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer requirements.
  • Distribute product samples and catalogs to support sales efforts.
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, trade shows, industry events, and referrals.
  • Coordinate delivery and installation of products and equipment.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and product innovations.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms; prepare sales agreements and order documentation.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, budgets, and performance reports; track and report key performance metrics.
  • Evaluate customer creditworthiness and gather necessary credit information.
  • Submit orders to manufacturers and monitor stock levels, assisting with reorders as needed.
  • Support retail partners by planning and recommending product displays, promotions, and advertising strategies.
  • Work with retailers to improve product visibility, shelf placement, and promotional execution.
  • Participate actively in sales meetings and collaborate with team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Manager to support overall business success.
