Job Description Your Responsibilities We are seeking a driven, competitive, and relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to help accelerate the growth of our insulation and building products distribution business. This is an opportunity for a proven sales professional who thrives on developing new business, managing a territory like their own business, and delivering results in a high-performance environment with uncapped earning potential. The Outside Sales Representative serves as a trusted business partner to contractors, builders, and industry professionals while driving profitable sales growth and expanding market share throughout their territory.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license required if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
  • 3-5 years of successful outside sales experience with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience selling within the construction, building materials, industrial, commercial, contractor, distribution, or related B2B industries preferred.
  • Experience developing new business and growing existing accounts, preferred
  • General contractor and building industry knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of commercial insulation, building envelope, building materials, or building science is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
  • Manage and grow an existing customer base while identifying opportunities to expand wallet share.
  • Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, general contractors, and key decision-makers.
  • Execute territory sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability goals.
  • Promote our full portfolio of insulation and building products solutions.
  • Deliver professional sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer consultations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and project execution.
  • Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and activity information within company systems.
  • Utilize strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills to win business and retain customers.
  • Perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.
