About The Position
Gensco has an immediate need for an Outside Sales Representative - HVAC Supplies to service new and established accounts in our LOCATION Region serving Anchorage, Alaska! The territory covers the Greater Anchorage area. This role performs a broad range of responsibilities for commercial and residential HVAC supplies sales, customer development, value engineering support, system design assistance, and sales support responsibilities.
Requirements
- Related industry outside sales experience
- High level of proficiency in computer technology including Microsoft Office.
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a good driving history.
- Thinks creatively and identifies sales opportunities.
- Strong negotiation skills and presentation skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated.
- Positive approach toward challenging situations.
- Strong decision-making abilities: understand impact and implications of decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong people management and time management skills.
- Able to travel to multiple facilities as required and overnight(s) if necessary
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years related experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Introducing and selling HVAC supplies to Residential and Commercial Contractors
- Targeting potential Customers and developing new accounts
- Bidding jobs, producing quotes, processing Customer orders, and providing Customers technical product information
- Attend training sessions with Customers and take an active role in helping those Customers execute on resulting action plans
- Support Region Credit Manager in dealing with Customer credit and collections issues.
